I find it hilarious that she is essentially selling expensive flour in a box, especially the crepe mix. I make crepes farely regularly which consist of flour, salt, and the wet ingredients.
I imagine MM had "final" say on the packaging which accounts for all the mistakes.
Having started multiple business, some in production, that required packaging, and knowing the ENORMOUS costs associated, all I can say is I am so glad I did not have this group of ( words fail me) to judge my fledgling enterprises. Had I read these words I may have given up, and given the state of this world the last thing we need is women giving up on their dreams.
As a graphic designer myself, I can immediately see why the font sizes differed, what's wrong with the spacing - all of the things you mentioned are spot on.
I don't like the "logo". It's unbalanced and looks especially bad on the "keepsake" container. Also, using a trailing remark as her logo is ridiculous, it's unbalanced.
With all the products looking so poorly produced it makes me think that Netflix hasn't helped her with any of this because if they did I'm sure all the products would have had a more professional look to them. Also I noticed on the As Ever website they haven't restocked any of the products as it still says that they are sold out which tells me that she isn't planning to restock the items anytime soon.
Who created those recipes? There isn’t a measuring spoon for 1/4th of a tablespoon. The actual measurement for that volume is 3/4th of a teaspoon. (3 teaspoons in a tablespoon, so a fourth of a tablespoon is going to be less than one teaspoon, 3/4ths to be exact.)
I’m not a graphic designer and I’m sure much discussion went into the company name, but I think the e in ever should be capitalized. It’s a diminishment, and that doesn’t seem like a good idea for a brand name. It also reduces the visibility of the brand name, as another poster noted, when used in a sentence.
As long as we’re being editors, put “only” where is belongs by writing “appears to care only about getting her name” and using “anyway” instead of “anyways.”
The As ever brand name gets lost in the paragraphs above because the "e" is not capitalized. It is very hard to remember that it is the brand because of this.
Your Review is Spot on. Your YouTube review was Epic.
With Meghan’s snarky remarks to Catherine’s photogate “That Meghan’s has such an eye to detail” proves she does not.
We brand dropping with no thought process. We have brand crisis with her multiple names with ARO, With love, Meghan and As ever. It would be so much easier to have one name.
When she sent strawberry jams to her celebrity friends, she had no products to sell. King Charles’s Highgrove, Buckingham Palace, Holyrood House and Windsor Castle jam all sold out and the profits went to profit and their marketing was spot on.
Then Meghan was in Trademark hell. Then did suddenly renamed the brand As ever, taking the name and logo from other organizations. No due diligence. Meghan was not honest for the pivot.
With love, Meghan was delayed for 6 weeks. Showing the show in March with nothing to watch people universally panned. The products should have dropped at the same time. Ther was quite a bit editing due Meghan’s self obsession. Meghan proved she wasn’t comfortable in the kitchen, as an overbearing hostess, and was awkward and could not hold a proper conversation or an interview.
As ever social media campaign was horrible. As ever didn’t engage in an e-mails to her customer base. Meghan dropped the opening of the sight and let Instagram and email the update 10 minutes later. No synchronization between her communication channels.
As ever, products were up for sale delayed after Spring and not in synchronized with the drop her show. Customers had issues with the ordering the honey. Only select few were able to get products. This launch was successful using scarcity marketing. You have no emails to follow up with customers. Then her products were superb, it was mediocre slop according to Brittany and Maureen Callahan.
Meghan has showed she has no attention detail. She is not serious bring business off the ground. Customers are the number one entity. She waisted time and effort on packaging which was crap. I’ve seen retailers that were negated with their customers and went above and beyond to bring satisfaction. Meghan had snafu overselling the honey, what sounds like the honey should not have been sold in the first place.
All the things Meghan does with her business also reflects in every component of her life.
I’d be tempted to say “As ever” is a cottage project involving a dining room table, inkjet printer, and an account at AliExpress. Maybe next time, she should try Vistaprint.
By and large, not by in large. 🙂
for a post demanding perfection from others,i see a lot of errors

Yep, me too!!

The whole thing is entirely crazy to me. She has the worst taste and presentation when it comes to her brand.
It just looks so unprofessional and with so many errors it tells me that the whole thing was rushed without any thought going into it.

Exactly. It’s melting butter in a pan, so just say one teaspoon. 3/4 tablespoon- no baker has read that recipe. That’s basically a typo.

Crap shite from hater jealous gossips. Waste of time.

I kept looking back to see if it was capitalized or not. Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn't. Very strange
Destined to land at Marshall’s
Perfect.
Excellent review. I knew her product design was “off” but appreciate your expertise in explaining exactly why it look odd.
Not a MM fan but the post is full of errors too. I guess we are all human! Hugs to all!😊
