I was curious about the numbers and how they work out. I think a lot of the views probably come from fans who keep rewatching her show, plus curious individuals who tuned in for the first episode but didn’t stick with it—some maybe not even making it to the end. Still, the threat to the British Royal Family is real and should be treated as a serious issue.

I agree! I think most watchers were just seeing if it was as bad as the media was saying. They also wanted to see the Mindy Kaling moment.

I would advise King Charles, William and Harry to NEVER underestimate MM.....she has already shown absolutely no self awareness and no empathy for any single solitary person on this planet.

"Perhaps she isn’t quite as cringy in some ways or as messy as the Duchess of York. . . . "

Despite a certain level of cringe and messiness, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York, has a heart of gold.

Meghan, not so much.

Meghan is a proven liar, her husband told whoppers in his memoir, but I don't think we've experienced all the toxic mendacity still left in that couple.

What an interesting analysis. This is the third one I have read on her and that show.

I have never been interested in MM, but I felt like she was taking Harry for ride, and not a good one. She is an empty vessel. Shame really.

I thought it was impossible to get Netflix ratings. Not surprising the show didn't get good ratings. Megan, Kelly, and this writer for the Daily Mail excoriated it and showed clips. They were awful. She was wearing a cream colored outfit while she cooked in her perfectly curated kitchen. it was so in authentic. And she got mad when Mindy Kaling called her Meghan Markle instead of Sussex. She was so obnoxious. There were 80 crewmembers on that shoot. I have a feeling that Netflix will drop her too. Harry may as well.

Rumor has it that Ms. Sussex, with all her Suits cash, hired a PR firm to land her a hot-shot Brit soccer player. As the party circuit would have it, she fell over hapless Harry. Mr. Dim Wit took the bait and the rest is history. The Royals won the lottery with her exit from the low income lux life only to have Spotify and Netflix jump in with cash. That’ll be gone soon and Ms. Sussex’s next chance at the big bucks will be tales from divorce city. She’s a true faux royal grifter.

I doubt she will divorce him - she loves the Sussex title far too much. Maybe a ‘conscious uncoupling’ without the divorce, along with squillions for her children?

By the way, she isn’t Royal.

Spot on analysis. I can see both sides of the issue of stripping the titles. I really lean toward stripping the titles and having amendments to Letter of Patent. Clarifying leaving working royal voluntarily and involuntarily, titles outside the country, LOS, adding a code of conduct and governance.

I'm thoroughly fed up with watching this woman be slayed in the media and on YouTube. I'm actually surprised she's still with us: 'Tungsten' indeed.

For some reason, there's an insatiable appetite for everything she says and does. Do you think she perhaps serves as a handy scapegoat and distraction for everyone's anxieties about the state our world is in?

"Do you think she perhaps serves as a handy scapegoat and distraction for everyone's anxieties about the state our world is in?"

No, actually.

I think people recognize her for what she is and, in watching her, experience a kind of "fascination of abomination," to use Joseph Conrad's perfect phrase -- that is, she's a car wreck on the highway, and we must slow down and twist our necks to get a better look at her.

I guess poor Harry's the other, crumpled car.

You’ve got to question a world where one person’s life ‘car crash’ provides endless entertainment for others.

But you see, Meghan's calculating lies about people, including her own father, her abysmal treatment of her husband's grandmother, an old lady -- these make her not the victim of a car crash but its agent.

She's the frenzied guy weaving in and out of traffic at 90 mph in a car with a mutilated license plate that gets him through tolls without paying.

And these mis-steps give us the green light to troll her relentlessly how exactly?

Sorry, most people aren't trolling; they read an occasional article about Ms. Markle and think to themselves, Well, there you go. And once in a while offer a comment after an article.

Trolling? Hardly.

Hating on her has become a pastime for many people. You just need to spend two minutes on YouTube to see that.

Yes, she and her horrible husband are scapegoats and money laudererers of the highest order. I'm also sick and tired of them, but we have to keep calling them (and many others hypocrites of the elite world) out.

I really wonder how you can spend so much time writing about someone you truly hate. I don’t see any evidence for any of your claims!?

It all started with so much promise - the gawky Prince and his radiant Bride-to-be. Who could have foreseen that it would all spin out of control, flinging detritus and misery all over the media. My empathy is with the children. The Royals know how to take care of themselves - they have weathered all kinds of disaster. They can batten down the hatches when the storm comes. MM and Harry should take this down a notch and do something meaningful with their lives
