I have to say though, King Charles' is getting a rough deal at the moment. He's doomed if he does, doomed if he doesn't. Taking the titles away gives them ammunition, he doesn't want to do that. Also that title was given as a gift by his mother, taking it away could be see as petty and unfair. If you shut a door completely it can never be reopened and as Christian, and a GOOD man I believe he believes in forgiveness. He will never, unless forced by the government, turn on his son and I think that's right, I want a King who can forgive, who can be the bigger person and who sees the flaws in others and does not condemn them for them. I wish everyone would give him a break and just support a kind man who's doing a very hard job.
That book about Richard III looks fascinating. I've often thought that he wasn't the villain he was painted as. Killing the Prince's would only be done for one reason, for some gain, and if studied closely, Richard gained nothing from their death. So I'd like to read that.
I was particularly interested in the book about Richard III. I think that history points pretty conclusively to his complicity in the deaths of his nephews, but this might be an interesting topic for you to explore on your channel one day
Excellent article! I appreciate the fashion comments as well as the royal reporting. You have a knack for highlighting topics that are interesting and entertaining.
Harry always claimed to love and adore his granny, but that was a horrendous lie. He is shameless when it comes to her and his family. Queen Elizabeth would be horrified knowing his behavior has gone from bad to worse, and at how proud he is of his drug addiction. I believe had she lived she would not be as tolerant as King Charles has been with the destructive behavior by hypocritical duo. I must say I was disappointed to learn that King Charles put an end to the talks of stripping their titles. Why is King Charles willing to alienate his people for the sake of Harry and Meghan? He seems willing to destroy the monarchy all so Harry and Meghan can keep their money making titles. Isnβt it past time he stands up to them both and says enough is enough. People say by not allowing them on the balcony during the coronation he stood up to them. Noooo, that was just King Charles following the rule that non-working royals are not allowed on the balcony. If King Charles stood up to them, he would rescind their invitation, because they are well past the RSVP date. He could give their tickets to two other people who would be grateful for the chance to be there. I canβt help but wonder if King Charles is doing this because heβs upset that the Wales Family is more popular than he and Camilla. I read that King Charles is jealous of The Prince and Princess of Walesβ popularity. Normally I would say this was clickbait or a rumor but King Charles is an extremely jealous person as we all know from his marriage to Diana and how popular she was compared to him. Itβs not likely his jealous nature slowly went away over time.
Thanks Brittany for another excellent well constructed article, I loved the part regarding King Richard III. Have an awesome day everyone!
I think that King Charles' behaviour towards Harry is that of a loving father. As a parent, I will always love my children, pretty much unconditionally, even if I hate the things they do. I think that might be the King's position. He may also be aware of trying to leave some way back for Harry, despite the dreadful behaviour he has exhibited. That's the unconditional love of a parent.
Stripping the Sussexes of their titles is difficult and in the end may not be in anyone's best interests. What I hope however, is that when they are divorced, a way is found to remove the title from her, or at least prevent her from using it.
Whilst Charles was shocked and probably jealous of the star power of Diana, I do not think that he is jealous of the Prince and Princess of Wales. He recognises them as an asset to the crown and as the crown is now his, they are not really a threat. Catherine especially is particularly non-threatening, as she is such a peacemaker and clearly has a close relationship with the Queen, which is important to Charles.
The balcony rule of "working royals' only is a very new invention. I think it was designed by Charles himself as a convenient mechanism to keep out both the Sussexes and Prince Andrew.
Well now we know Harry will be there on his own. A good outcome, I think!
love the article. however despite the public and royal fans tired of the Markle drama, i heard BP knows if they are attending but choose to allow the Markles to play out their whining fest..
Really interesting article.
