Prince Harry on SNL?
Meghan Markle loses legal bid to protect herself against being forced to testify in Samantha Markle Defamation Case
Prince Harry was apparently in talks to host “Saturday Night Live,” according to an exclusive report from Page Six.
In the lead up to his much maligned and mocked memoir, Harry was keen to host the decades old sketch-comedy show.
As a “well-placed source” told Page Six, “I know that Harry was all in, he was really serious about doing it — and it would have been great fun as promo for the book.
“‘SNL’ producers have been after Harry for a while. Everyone on the show was really into the idea, and people would definitely have tuned in.”
Of course they were into the idea, it’s rare that you get someone so willing to throw themselves to the wolves as entertainment for the masses. It’s unclear why the deal fell apart, but perhaps the forthcoming memoir leaks were part of the reason.
When The Guardian and other news sources began releasing snippets of Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare,” the reaction wasn’t what he initially anticipated. Instead of his victim narrative tracking with the public, those that read his woe as me tale were incensed, annoyed and, in some cases, struck with fits of uncontrolled laughter.
He didn’t become this tragic figure that he envisioned, but instead the punchline to the joke. A focus of international mockery. Missing out on SNL probably was the best thing that could have happened for him, though he may have actually been rather good at it.
And that could be the real problem.
Meghan Markle, a former d-list actress desperate for fame and fortune, was probably incensed that her dimwitted husband got the gig she had probably dreamed about for years if not decades. Maybe he had to back out, so she could get her shot at that stage first.
How ironic would it be if the Prince was the better actor than his wife? That would be deliciously ironic don’t you think?
Meghan Markle May Be Forced to Testify in Samantha Markle Defamation Trial
Meghan Markle is the finest chef when it comes to creating endless bouts of inane word salad. But her mental culinary skills will be put to the test as a judge has allowed Samantha Markle’s lawyers to depose both Meghan and Prince Harry. These discovery interviews will probe statements that she made in the Oprah Winfrey interview, including whether or not Meghan thinks the Queen is a racist.
Though the judge has not ruled out dismissing the case, this is an opportunity for Samantha’s lawyers to get the Sussexes under oath in a way few have.
And this is the last thing Meghan Markle wants. She doesn’t want to answer hard questions or be subjected to any kind of questioning that isn’t both sympathetic and reverential.
But she’s out of luck on that here in the states.
In the U.K., the respect for the monarchy as an institution played a role in her case against the Daily Mail. But her royal title won’t get her anywhere here in the States.
Meghan and Harry may finally have to answer the tough questions they’ve been so desperate to ignore.'
They also have much fewer protections when it comes to testifying for depositions, with a lawyer breaking out every trick in the book to trip her up. All of it will also likely be recorded for release at trial, if it gets that far, or to the public.
But hey, maybe she’ll finally get to flex her “Suits” experience as a fake paralegal and, I believe, eventual lawyer. She may find that being in a real life courtroom is much different than the shiny Hollywood vainer of her Toronto film set.

Sasha Walpole has come forward as the “older woman” who took Harry’s virginity in a filed behind the Vine Tree Inn. She was revealed by The Daily Mail and The Sun as a woman who was only two years older than Harry, and was a groom on the Highgrove Estate. Harry seemingly wanted the world to believe he bagged an Elizabeth Hurley type, when the woman was a teenager like himself.

Royal History
A cafe owner, who recently took up metal detecting as a hobby, discovered the find of a lifetime, a large gold heart necklace that was likely made for Catherine of Aragon, the first wife of King Henry VIII. Almost too good to be true, the pendant measures almost two and a half inches and the necklace itself 17 inches.
It’s so grand that some even thought it might be fake, as the jewelry pieces that have survived through the Tudor period are generally much smaller.
Per Smithsonian magazine: “The majority of people who saw this at the museum felt it was almost too good to be true,” curator Rachel King tells the Financial Times’ James Pickford. “At the British Museum, we have the largest collection of objects in precious metal from the early Tudor period. None of them are anything like this—they tend to be smaller. Things like this haven’t really survived.”
