Meghan Markle's Hollywood Life and Vacant Parenting
More royals RSVP to Prince Christian's 18th birthday celebrations
Meghan Markle recently took a selfie with a group of women while in the car entrance for the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles, without her husband or children.
Now, perhaps, it could be that Meghan was simply waiting for her car to take her home after a long series of meetings about reinvigorating the “Meghan” brand for the 1000th time. Reports released earlier this year seem to indicate that Meghan refuses to hold meeting only under the roof of the iconic peach and green motif of the Beverly Hills Hotel. Her presence there could be completely innocent and normal, but it also raises some interesting questions.
Why is she hardly ever seen with her husband when out and about in Los Angeles, and why is she never seen in public with her children?
It seems rather odd that such a self-proclaimed devoted wife and mother spends so much time away from her children and husband, but it also seems to confirm something.
The couple are not in a good place, despite the loved-up display that they put on at the Invictus Games.
Throughout the summer, Harry and Meghan were on the receiving end of many, many negative stories about the state of their marriage. A story from The Telegraph was particularly memorable in its discussion on how Harry stayed up all night playing video games and had a hotel room on standby for when he needed it, which was apparently often enough for the owner to know him. Another story highlighting the depressing state of their relationship was People magazine, which confirmed that Harry merely does everything Meghan says since it’s a “dynamic works for them.”
This recent spotting at the Beverly Hills Hotel seems to confirm many of those rumbling. Again, there could be a simple explanation, but it also wouldn’t be surprising if she is living there at least part-time to accommodate her needs to feel important by working in Los Angeles. If that’s the case, it makes their decision to purchase a home in Montectio, which is around two hours outside LA, incredibly stupid from a personal, business and environmental perspective.
But Meghan has always wanted opulence instead of prudence.
She wanted one of the biggest and most expensive homes Harry’s meager inheritance could buy, and she made sure to spend at least half of it so she could live her fantasy of being a billionaire Hollywood mega player.
As it turns out, a royal title isn't as magical as the fairy tales say and becoming the Duchess of Sussex did not make Meghan the Oscar caliber actress she believed herself to be or imbue her with any notable talent.
And I imagine, that’s putting a deep strain on the couple’s marriage. A $9 million mortgage and the dream of an entertainment empire crumbling underneath their feet is probably pushing the couple to the breaking point. They desperately need a success that could make them money, which they seem incapable of doing for themselves or anyone else.
It seemed all glamorous when they first arrived, Meghan high on her role as Duchess and Harry high on her. But as everything seems to cave around them, and as Meghan gets more desperate, Harry becomes more disposable.
This could mean that we may see more of the children soon, as Meghan never wanted privacy for her children but to control her public image and by extension theirs.
But in all her machinations, Meghan made a critical error. She believed that by playing games with the public by hiding her children, that she could somehow leverage their public image for maximum effect.
It’s had the opposite effect.
The longer that questions over her children linger, the less anyone cares. Even the release of Lilibet’s first birthday picture failed to move the dailies I saw at Heathrow Airport the day after the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee ended.
Instead of their absence raising intrigue, people wonder whether her children exist or if they mental or physical health issues. It’s doubtful that they do, but their long absence from the public eye and Harry and Meghan’s seemingly absent parenting has fueled conspiracies.
She let the mystery go on too long, and the speculation that generated around her children turned universally negative.
Sadly, it’s abundantly clear that a life of fame, fortune and a-list Hollywood status was always more important to Meghan Markle than her marriage, children and family.

Apparently, Catherine took to wheelchair rugby incredibly quickly. The coach for England said: “She took to manoeuvring the chair really quickly. I’m not just saying this because it’s her, but it’s the first time I’ve ever seen anyone score a conversion at their first attempt. I think she’s been having secret practice sessions before coming here because she was a natural. She even finished off a passing move with a try in the corner. She blew me away, to be honest.”

One of the initial controversies is regarding Prince Bernhard, consort to Queen Juliana, whose Nazi Party card came to light. The prince had always denied his association with the party, though it appears that he was a member only between 1933 and 1937, before marrying into the Dutch royal family.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Because YOU don’t see them with their children, that means they’re rarely with their children? We rarely see the Wales with their children so that must mean they’re rarely around them unless using them for a photo-op if we’re going with your logic. The fact the majority of your articles are about H&M say’s everything about where your real interest lie- it’s not with the other royals, but with H&M.
