FROGXIT - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Booted from Frogmore Cottage?
Valentine Low shares his royal insights on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, the bullying allegations and the future of the monarchy
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have apparently been booted from Frogmore Cottage, in an event that The Sun has dubbed “Frogxit.”
According to The Sun, “King Charles began the process of chucking Harry and Meghan out of Frogmore Cottage days after his son’s controversial memoir Spare was released.”
This is a somewhat surprising move, as the royal family has tried to avoid directly retaliating against Harry and Meghan’s attacks. It’s also strange as allegedly Harry and Meghan paid the £2.4 million renovation cost for Frogmore Cottage, which was initially covered by the Sovereign Grant. They repaid it as a way to settle what could be seen as a debt to the British people, for public service they never intended to commit. However, if the story is true, it may confirm what some have suspected for years.
Charles paid to settle the couple’s debts.
This would explain why Charles would be so willing to kick them out. After all, Frogmore Cottage has been renovated for use and not to sit empty for when Harry and Meghan feel like they’re willing to grace the U.K. with their presence.
In their stead, apparently Prince Andrew will move in, which makes sense. Andrew lives in the very large Royal Lodge and given his age and diminished role, it’s time to downsize. The Duke of York isn’t keen on the process, but it’s a possibility.
The question then becomes, what happens to the Royal Lodge? Giving it to The Prince and Princess of Wales is a possibility, as their current abode, Adelaide Cottage, is rather small. Royal Lodge is a better fit given their status. Though they’ve also been rumored to eventually move into Windsor Castle.
But if Prince William and Princess Catherine move, then Adelaide Cottage could be available for use by whoever needs it, like Harry and Meghan whenever they feel up to facing the U.K. people.

Given the interview with Valentine Low and Harry and Meghan’s reported rejection from Frogmore Cottage, this email is a little lighter this week! Back with more next week!!
I don’t know how you keep up with everything you do, but know that your hard work does not go unnoticed and is very much appreciated❣️ Very interesting article. Thank you❤️
This was great! I look forward to seeing the Harkles reaction. After all, they do not own Frogmore, it’s a crown estate.
